Battery monitoring + Tilting via app
How can I tilt up and down at the touch of a button? How can I monitor the battery level of my trailer?
For vehicles and trailers with a built-in battery, e.g. tipper, Senko, etc., it’s a good idea to check the battery level occasionally to avoid unforeseen battery failure. This can be done conveniently via the app. You can also tilt it up and down at the touch of a button. Let us show you how.
1. Preparation
- Tilt the tipper upwards.
- Turn off the main switch.
- Remove the cover of the battery box.
- Close the Y-piece between the manual control and the pump.
2. Connect Icarus Blue
- Remove the earth from the negative terminal of the battery and connect it to the module.
- Connect the Icarus Blue radio remote control.
- Switch on the main switch and power.
3. Download app
- Download the ICARUS blue Classic app free of charge from the App Store or Google Play Store.
4. Link
- Open the app.
- Press the small black button on the side of the module quickly three times. The module will then flash red/green.
- In the app, in the "Welcome to initial installation" window, click on Next.
- Assign a name for the recipient. The trailer name is useful here, e.g. HTK.
- Click on Link.
- The connection is established.
5. Usage
Trailer and app connected?
- The trailer can now be tilted up and down using the two buttons at the top of the app.
- The battery status is displayed in the top right-hand corner of the app. The battery level can be measured via Bluetooth at a range of up to 6 metres.
